Location Quotient
Pensacola Metro Area (Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties)
The location quotient is a ratio of regional employment within a specific industry to national employment within that industry. A number greater than 1 indicates a larger share of regional employment within that industry when compared to the nation while a number less than 1 indicates a smaller share of regional employment within that industry when compared to the nation.
